Overview Small repair company looking to hire a very competent Field Service Technician that is very detail oriented, reliable, and self sufficient. Looking for the right tech not just any tech, must be able to tackle almost any job on your own and have the problem solving brain. Duties Diagnose and repair diverse mechanical systems including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic using schematics and technical manuals when available. Repair or install new components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Perform routine maintenance on various types of equipment to optimize performance and longevity while minimizing downtime. Operate company vehicles responsibly to reach job sites promptly while maintaining vehicle safety standards. A clean driving record is a must have. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during every interaction Document all service activities accurately through detailed reports and logs for accountability and future reference Skills Proven experience in equipment repair, electrical and hydraulic systems repair, or service technician roles with a focus on mechanical knowledge Strong understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical systems troubleshooting techniques Skilled in component replacement, equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) practices Ability to operate most types of equipment safely and effectively Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; capable of communicating technical information clearly to clients Leadership qualities to guide team members when needed; proactive approach to problem-solving and safety compliance This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding service.
