In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing a variety of telecommunications systems including fiber optic cables, copper wiring, and networking equipment. Your expertise will help ensure seamless communication services for residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities Install telecommunications infrastructure including cable runs, fiber splicing, and equipment setup in both residential and commercial settings Operate company vehicles safely to reach job sites across diverse outdoor environments Use hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, power tools, and mechanical tools to complete installations accurately Test telecommunications equipment using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure proper operation Perform cable management tasks including routing, securing cables with cable ties or conduit, and ensuring compliance with safety standards Conduct service calls for troubleshooting network issues related to Ethernet, telephony systems, satellite dish setups, and low voltage wiring Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including installation procedures and test results Requirements Proven experience working as a telecommunications infrastructure technician or in related field service roles Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts such as Ethernet connections and network installation procedures Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and telecommunication equipment testing tools Ability to perform fiber splicing with precision and efficiency in outdoor conditions Skilled in using ladder systems safely for elevated work at various heights Familiarity with electrical work including low voltage wiring and power tool operation Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools like wire strippers, crimpers, and voltmeters effectively Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients during installations or troubleshooting sessions Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for outdoor labor tasks Join us if you're passionate about building reliable communication networks!
