Responsibilities Climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50lb load to install, replace, and repair antenna systems, equipment, and tower components. Perform routine tower maintenance and assist with construction activities under the guidance of experienced technicians. Assist with other Amplex ground-based projects, including service calls, equipment preparation, maintenance work, and other field tasks as needed. Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment. Know the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment. Analyze situations accurately and adopting an appropriate course of action. Communicate orally and in writing. Follow instructions accurately and completing assigned course of action. Recognize safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner. Benefits (available after 90 days of employment): $250 sign on bonus after a successful 90 days of employment! Starting pay:

$22/hour, paid bi-weekly. Can be increased depending on experience. This is a local position with no travel other than local, home every night Year-round, steady work Requirements Must have High School diploma or equivalent. Highly organized and be able to effectively report verbal and written reports back to the Tower Foreman. Ability to follow strict safety protocols and take safety seriously. Must currently have climbing certification or be willing to obtain climbing certification through Amplex. Possession of a valid drivers license with 4 points or less. Applicants must submit and pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, background check, and have a good driving record. We are a dog friendly office! We do not accept phone calls regarding application status.
