SLG Services, Inc. performs turnkey outside-plant (OSP) telecom construction — aerial and underground placement, fiber and coax splicing, testing and restoration — as a single self-performing partner to leading communications providers. The Role Production-rate coax splicer supporting plant upgrades, extensions and new build — splicing, sweeping, activations, testing, troubleshooting and node optimization on the HFC plant. Responsibilities Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable. Optimize new nodes and splice in node splits to manage capacity. Utilize RF meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers); forward/reverse sweep & network verification. Install/dress coax, enclosures, line extenders, amplifiers and drops; program nodes/amps. Read CATV telecom design/prints; maintain coax asset inventory and splicing records. Qualifications 1-3+ yrs coax splicing & sweeping experience. Comfortable on ladder or bucket truck; quality-focused. Valid driver's license; flexible on shifts/overtime.
