VIA Satellite is hiring full-time Field Installation Technicians serving Indiana, Blairsville, Homer City, Punxsutawney, and surrounding communities. ooking for a career with paid training , great benefits, and advancement opportunities? No previous installation experience is required. This is a full-time W-2 employee position with benefits. We'll provide paid training , and after successfully completing training, you'll be assigned your own company vehicle to begin working independently in your local service area. A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required during training. Training begins with one day in Indiana, PA. After that, you'll complete 4-6 weeks of paid, hands-on field training with an experienced technician within a reasonable driving distance of your home . What You'll Do Install and service Starlink internet systems (dish mounting, cabling, router setup) Install and service DISH satellite equipment Install smart home and security devices Deliver and activate mobile devices through our Boost Mobile partnership Educate customers on their new technology to ensure a great customer experience Recommend products and services that benefit your customers while earning additional incentives Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Successfully pass a criminal background check Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening Comfortable using hand tools and climbing ladders up to 40 feet Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Comfortable learning new technology Pay & Earning Potential Paid training starts at $18/hour. During your first year, most technicians earn the equivalent of $18-25/hour . Your earning potential increases as you gain experience. Opportunities for advancement.
