FULL-TIME
Field Technician for Data Cabling, Security (CCTV & Access), Fiber, and AV services that operate out of Sherman Texas. Joining our company means joining a team that provides cutting-edge professional solutions to meet the continuously evolving technological needs of our clients. Candidates for this position will install Voice/Data/Fiber/CCTV/Access Control and AV services in the surrounding North Texas area. Typically, in Grayson, Cooke, Denton, Collin Counties as well as the DFW area. Occasional out of state projects with Franchise and Military clients as well. We prefer experience but will consider candidates who are Mechanically Inclined and Tech Savvy, Willing to learn and ready to work. Pay consistent with experience level.
Responsibilities:
  • Handle, unpack, connect, and integrate commercial-grade Datacom, CCTV & AV equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and become proficient in all systems.
  • Run low-voltage cables through multiple architectural conditions (walls, ceilings, conduit, etc.).
  • Safely mount heavy equipment to a variety of different surfaces.
  • Read and interpret signal flow diagrams and architectural drawings.
  • Markup as-built drawings with any engineering changes made in the field.
  • Fully test and commission our systems at the completion of the install. Provide end-user training when necessary.
  • Comply with company safety regulations and procedures
  • Successful completion of training and/or certification programs
  • Travel to customer sites to perform work Requirements include but not limited to:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Clean Background Check (Will be required) & Clean Drug Screen (Occasional test)
  • Have reliable Transportation and plan-based cell phone for communication
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record and Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs., Climb Ladders, and Carrying equipment
  • Ability to operate a computer, Basic test equipment, and a multimeter
  • Ability to work in attics, or other uncomfortable spaces from time to time
  • Ability to work without immediate supervision, be reliable, and dependable
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English and be an organized and detail-oriented person
Ideal Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of in-field experience
  • OSHA Certified (10 or 30), MSHA, or other Industry Specific Training
  • Experienced with CCTV, Access, or AV equipment, Experience installing cabling to Industry Standards
  • Ability to complete task efficiently, Keep a clean workspace, and document completion
