Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, electrical diagnostics, suspension, and mechanical repairs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including motorcycles and powersports engines, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and hand tools. The Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Duties Diagnose and repair automotive engine systems, electrical issues, brakes, suspension, and mechanical components using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements Conduct basic troubleshooting for vehicle problems and identify necessary repairs or replacements Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and assembly skills to complete repairs efficiently Repair all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles, and powersports engines with precision and adherence to safety standards Assist in the repair of mechanical systems including suspension, steering, and drivetrain components Operate motorcycles or all-terrain vehicles as needed for testing or diagnostics purposes Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations Engage in continuous learning to stay current with automotive technology advancements Experience Dealership experience or service technician background preferred but not required Proven experience with automotive diagnostics and engine system repair Familiarity with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues Hands-on experience with mechanical systems repair including brakes, suspension, and assembly processes Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting tasks Knowledge of motorcycle operation and repair as well as powersports engine servicing is advantageous Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients Prior experience in all-terrain vehicle repair or motorcycle repair is a plus Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting efficiently while maintaining safety standards

$22.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
