Senior Mechanic (Scooter) Bolt Technologies - 4.6 Washington, DC Job Details Full-time $22 - $26 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Customer relationship building Machine repair Customer service Minor mechanical vehicle repair Maintenance work Customer engagement Power tools Hand tools Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Job Overview Senior Mechanic will maintain and service Hopp e-scooters to maximize the unit economics and continuously improve the repair process for our scooters. The Senior Mechanic is the subject matter expert when it comes to repairs and will help reinforce high standards for speed and quality of repair with the team of mechanics. The Senior Mechanic would keep the warehouse inflow and outflow organized, while training and overseeing a team of mechanics. Responsibilities Servicing and maintenance of e-scooters: Repair scooters along with other mechanics to maintain the highest level of quality Perform general repair work and check-ups along with other mechanics Test scooters before releasing them Inspect scooters in use and identify problems with parts Diagnose and service scooters for safety and reliability Monitor work in the warehouse/ coach the team of mechanics Trains and coaches the team of mechanics by organizing and delegating different tasks between the team Provide regular training and feedback to mechanics focused on continuous improvement of repair processes Responsible for inventory of spare parts, daily usage and forecast future needs Exemplify the highest possible standard for quality of repair Ensure that warehouse is compliant with best practice processes: stations for diagnosis, separate scooters per main issues, charging stations, dead area, tools Requirements Proven service technician experience Strong mechanical knowledge of scooters and general vehicle maintenance Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting as well as advanced repairs Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in mechanical systems repair Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills to enhance client satisfaction
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
