If you have experience working on boats, enjoy diagnosing mechanical issues, and take pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lower unit service, impeller replacement, spark plugs, and winterization/dewinterization. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine engines and related systems. Service and repair outboard motors, with experience on Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, or Honda engines preferred. Experience working on sterndrive (I/O) engines is a plus. Inspect boats for mechanical and electrical issues and recommend necessary repairs. Install and service marine accessories and equipment. Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new boats. Test boats on the water when necessary to verify repairs. Maintain accurate repair orders and communicate findings with the service department. Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a marine technician, boat mechanic, or automotive/diesel mechanic with marine experience preferred. Knowledge of outboard engine diagnostics and repair required. Sterndrive (I/O) experience preferred. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and routine service. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license required. Marine manufacturer certifications are a plus but not required.
