Job Description

Earn up to $40/hour + annual bonus + 401(k) match + free boat slip Spend your days working on boats along the Illinois River instead of inside a dealership or factory. Responsibilities Include:

Diagnose, maintain, and repair marine engines, drivetrains, steering systems, electrical systems and accessories. Complete winterizations & summerization of boats Install radios, electronics and other boat accessories on customer boats and/or trailers Responsible to maintain clean and orderly service shop and work areas Provide excellent customer service experience

Required Skill Set:

ABYC, ASE and/or Mercury, Yamaha or Honda certification preferred Proficient on all types of marine diagnostics and repairs on outboard, inboard, and inboard/outboard Basic boat handling skills including ability to sea test boats a plus Current driver's license and clean driving record required Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Should possess superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to self-motivate

Schedule:

This is a full-time position from March-December with potential for off-season work based on service workload. Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends and overtime as needed. Unemployment benefits available during off-season.
