Job Description

ATTENTION AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS!
Are you tired of working in hot shops, putting in long hours, not getting paid for all the time you spend on warranty work, and feeling like you need a computer engineering degree just to fix a car? We might be the answer. Dean Team Golf Carts is looking for an experienced Golf Cart & Small Engine Technician to join our growing service department in Chesterfield, Missouri. Trade the long hours, hot shop, and frustrations of modern automotive repair for a climate-controlled service department, Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends, and equipment that's actually enjoyable to work on. Our dealership represents leading brands including E-Z-GO, Cushman, ICON, Epic, and Yamaha, while also servicing virtually every make and model of golf cart. Automotive, powersports, motorcycle, marine, diesel, lawn equipment, and small engine technicians are encouraged to apply. Golf cart experience is not required for the right candidate, and paid manufacturer training is available. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair gas and electric golf carts Perform routine maintenance and preventative service Troubleshoot electrical systems, batteries, controllers, chargers, and wiring Repair engines, drive systems, suspension, steering, brakes, and drivetrain components Install accessories including lift kits, wheels & tires, lighting, stereos, rear seats, windshields, enclosures, and other custom upgrades Complete manufacturer warranty repairs according to factory standards Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and pre-owned inventory Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation Complete repair orders accurately and communicate repair recommendations to the service team Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Experience as a golf cart, powersports, small engine, automotive, motorcycle, marine, ATV/UTV, diesel, or equipment technician Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills Ability to use diagnostic equipment and common shop tools Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift 50+ pounds Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications Golf cart experience Experience servicing E-Z-GO, Cushman, Yamaha, ICON, or Epic golf carts Small engine experience Electrical troubleshooting experience What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Monday-Friday schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) No weekends Climate-controlled service department Paid holidays Paid vacation Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Employee discounts Paid manufacturer training and certification opportunities Modern, well-equipped service facility Career advancement opportunities with a growing company Why Dean Team Golf Carts?
