Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fiberglass Boat Builder and become a vital part of crafting high-quality, durable water transportation equipment. Duties Assemble fiberglass hulls and components using precise fabrication techniques, including cutting, sanding, and fitting materials to specifications Operate power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters to achieve high-quality results Apply marine-specific techniques such as rigging to enhance boat durability and functionality Conduct inspections throughout the assembly process to identify defects or deviations from design standards; perform necessary repairs or adjustments Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues during assembly or post-construction testing Qualifications Proven experience in service technician roles, mechanical repair, or boat/marine manufacturing environments Knowledge of marine electrical systems maintenance, electrical diagnostics, and marine propulsion systems is highly desirable Hands-on experience with fabricating using power tools and working with heavy lifting equipment Familiarity with boat electrical systems maintenance, water transportation equipment maintenance, diesel mechanics, and marine engine repair Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with vehicle maintenance or heavy machinery is advantageous Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients or team members effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various environmental conditions; Join us in building exceptional watercraft by combining your technical expertise with innovative craftsmanship.
