Full-Time Are you tired of standing in the same cramped shop every day? At Allegheny Mobile Marine & Engine, we don't have a shop foreman breathing down your neck. We are a fully mobile operation. You will be out on the road, working at local marinas, driveways, and docks, fixing everything from outboards to riding mowers. You get the freedom of the outdoors, a change of scenery every day, and the ability to just put your head down and turn wrenches. Let's talk about the elephant in the room: Drive Time & Vehicle Costs. We know standard flat-rate doesn't work for mobile techs—you can't make money sitting in traffic. That is why we pay a hybrid model. You keep 100% of the customer call-out/travel fee to cover your drive time, fuel, and vehicle wear-and-tear, plus a highly competitive flat-rate split on the actual wrench time. If you hustle and work efficiently, you will make more here than in a traditional bay. What You Will Actually Be Doing Driving your own reliable truck or vehicle to customer homes, docks, and local marinas. Diagnosing and repairing marine outboards, I/O engines, and boat electrical systems. Servicing small engines and powersports (ATVs, generators, lawn tractors). Performing seasonal maintenance, including winterizations and spring prep. Managing your own time and speaking directly with customers—no service advisors getting in the middle of your work.

What We Are Looking For Experience:

At least 2 years of professional wrenching experience. (If you are currently an automotive tech looking to escape the dealership and transition to marine/small engine, we want to hear from you).

Independence:

You need to be a self-starter who doesn't need a supervisor to keep you on task.

The Basics:

A valid driver's license, your own reliable vehicle capable of handling mobile service calls, and your own tools. (
