Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine systems and equipment, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various marine vessels. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and hands-on experience, ensuring that all marine equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on marine vessels. Maintain and service engines, propulsion systems, and electrical components. Assemble and rig various marine equipment according to schematics and specifications. Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments for repairs and maintenance tasks. Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service, including sales support for parts and services offered. Experience Proven experience in marine maintenance or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with electrical systems, sheet metal work, and vehicle maintenance is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly and repair tasks. Proficient in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
