Description Long-Lewis Auto Group is looking for a Reconditioning Center Maintenance & Tire Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll help prepare pre-owned vehicles for retail sale by performing routine maintenance services, tire installation and repair, and general vehicle inspections. Role:
The Reconditioning Center Maintenance & Tire Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and tire-related services on pre-owned vehicles within our Reconditioning Center. This position plays an important role in ensuring vehicles meet Long-Lewis quality and safety standards before they reach the sales lot.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of verifiable automotive maintenance or tire service experience Experience performing routine vehicle maintenance and tire services Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift heavy objects Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record High school diploma or equivalent preferred
What You'll Do:
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid services Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace tires as needed Inspect vehicles for maintenance and safety concerns Perform basic preventative maintenance to prepare vehicles for retail sale Maintain accurate records of completed work Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Work with the reconditioning team to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and on schedule Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures Why Join Long-Lewis?
