Job Description

The Oil Change & Tire Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire services, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on delivering quality work and great customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes, including draining and replacing engine oil and installing new oil filters. Check and top off all vehicle fluids; inspect filters, belts, hoses, wiper blades, and lights. Mount, dismount, repair, rotate, and balance tires on passenger and light-duty vehicles. Inspect tires for wear, damage, tread depth, and air pressure, and report recommendations. Accurately complete inspections and document all services performed on repair orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and shop floors. Follow all safety procedures and use lifts, jacks, and tools properly. Assist with inventory of tires, oil, filters, and shop supplies as needed. Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members about vehicle needs and status.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping the shop neat and organized. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment. Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused. Previous experience with oil changes and/or tire service is a plus; willing to train. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely. Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment and stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
