Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Alignment Technician and play a vital role in ensuring vehicles meet precise specifications for optimal performance and safety. In this energetic position, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to perform wheel alignments, diagnose suspension issues, and contribute to overall vehicle maintenance. Your skills will help deliver exceptional service to customers while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Perform wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment, ensuring accurate specifications are met. Diagnose suspension system issues, including shocks, struts, and steering components, using schematics and automotive diagnostics tools. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and mechanical system inspections. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems to repair or replace faulty components. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems efficiently. Assist with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and repairs to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded. Requirements Prior alignment experience is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmission, brakes, shocks & struts, and diesel engines. Experience working with schematics, automotive electrical systems, and diagnostics software. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and air brake systems is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery safely and effectively. Knowledge of GM vehicles or heavy equipment mechanics is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
