Job Description

Tire Technician:

Understand and show empathy towards customer's tire issues. Mount/dismount, install new or used tires. Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality and overall health of the tire. Check air pressure, repair punctures and replace faulty valves. Operate balancer and complete wheel alignments. Complete tire rotations; reset TPMS when needed. Complete brake inspections. Complete work orders and related paperwork. Load/unload and store equipment as needed. Maintain, set up tire racks, organize, and clean shop and equipment. Assist customers and other co-workers as needed. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

What We're Looking For:

Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. 18 years of age Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures. Ability to read and complete instructions. Must have general mechanical skills. Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.

Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
