Responsibilities Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues, safety concerns, and compliance with state inspection requirements. Complete licensed state inspections accurately and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory guidelines. Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, maintenance needs, and inspection results clearly and professionally. Assist in alignment procedures and other minor mechanical repairs to support overall vehicle health. Requirements Proven experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop with a focus on tire service and vehicle maintenance. Valid state inspector license or certification required; ability to perform licensed inspections efficiently. Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive diagnostics. Experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, alignments, and minor mechanical repairs. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment. Ability to lift heavy tires or vehicle components safely and perform physical tasks required for vehicle servicing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ideal candidates will have dealership experience or mechanic background along with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes.
