Job Description

Safran Landing Systems Wheel & Brake Services is a licensed FAA repair facility providing rapid-response aircraft wheel and brake repairs with facilities in Milwaukee, WI, Miami, FL, Bethlehem, PA, Grand Prairie, TX, and Las Vegas, NV.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Disassembles wheels to standard operating procedures.
  • Verifies records and documentation of product.
  • Uses computer hardware and software to maintain product flow.
  • Ensures that products processed at disassembly are completed and flowed to next production station.
  • Prepares documentation once task is complete.
  • Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments effectively.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills in order to prioritize workload according to business demands.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • General computer knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail required. Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in production and manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical Demands DOT/FAA regulations require all applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required submit to a pre-employment drug test as well as random testing annually. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
