We're currently looking for an Alignment Technician to join our team and help keep vehicles rolling safely. This dynamic role requires you to analyze the wheels and tires on each vehicle, conduct necessary services such as changing and rotating tires, and align the wheels per manufacturer specifications with the use of proper tools and equipment. What You'll Do:
Conduct wheel alignments on vehicles to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and address customer tire needs Inspect tires and vehicles for potential issues or additional repairs Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as needed Perform oil changes, brake and shock replacements, and various other mechanical services Work with suspension, brake, and steering systems to ensure safety and reliability Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care of equipment Additional tasks as assigned by manager
What You Need:
General mechanical and suspension knowledge Ability to understand Alignment Theory Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers Ability to read and verify work order information Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly Don't let your career stall-put it in drive with Pomp's Tire Service!
