Job Description

Tower Crane Mechanic/Technician

This Tower Crane Technician opportunity is based in Upper Marlboro, MD and offers hands-on work maintaining and servicing 200-500-foot flat-top tower cranes. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tower Crane Mechanic/Technician position include:

5-10 years of tower crane experience, including prior power-frame experience required
Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair tower cranes
Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnostics
Assist with crane erection, dismantling, and climbing operations
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable OSHA requirements
Maintain accurate service and inspection records
Read electrical and hydraulic schematics; knowledge of ohms law; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Salary:

$75,000-$105,000 per year based off experience
