This energetic position involves climbing cell towers, working at high angles, and utilizing specialized equipment to ensure optimal network performance. Your expertise will help keep communication systems reliable and efficient while adhering to strict safety standards. Responsibilities Safely climb towers and structures up to 500 feet. Install, maintain, and replace wireless radios, antennas, and related equipment. Install and maintain backhaul equipment, including dishes, radios, and cabling. Assist with microwave path alignment and troubleshooting. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs at tower and network sites. Troubleshoot equipment and network issues in coordination with the NOC. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment installed. Travel to tower and network sites throughout the service area. Participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation as needed. Requirements Ability and willingness to climb towers up to 500 feet. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Comfortable working outdoors and at heights in varying weather conditions. Able to lift, carry, and work with tools and equipment. Able to travel and occasionally stay overnight for projects. Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently. Basic networking, RF, fiber, or telecommunications experience is a plus. Preferred Experience Tower climbing or telecommunications Wireless ISP experience Microwave/radio systems Fiber or PON systems Basic IP networking OSHA, fall protection, or similar certifications are a plus.
