Direct Hire Schedule:

1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM HB Staffing is seeking a 1st Shift Freeze Tower Technician to join a growing and dynamic production team!

Job Description:

Operate and continuously monitor the Freeze Tower throughout the assigned shift Watch for jams, blockages, alarms, unusual noises, vibration, leaks, or other abnormal conditions Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments when trained and authorized Escalate mechanical, electrical, or equipment concerns to Production or Maintenance as needed Monitor ice quality entering and exiting the Freeze Tower and report concerns promptly Coordinate with Production and Packaging teams to maintain efficient product flow Complete equipment checks, production logs, and shift documentation Communicate equipment status and outstanding issues during shift handoffs Maintain the Freeze Tower and surrounding area in a clean, sanitary, organized condition Follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, PPE, and machine safety requirements

Position Requirements:

Hard skills: Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with production machinery; experience in GMP-regulated, sanitation-controlled, or food safety-focused environments preferred; experience in refrigerated or temperature-controlled production settings a plus; basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Soft skills: Strong attention to detail and equipment awareness; dependable with consistent attendance; clear and prompt communicator; team-oriented with a safety-first mindset
