Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Plumbing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting plumbing projects from start to finish! This energetic position is perfect for individuals eager to learn and grow within the construction industry, assisting skilled plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. You will gain hands-on experience working on diverse construction sites, reading technical drawings, and adhering to building codes—all while contributing to safe and efficient project completion. Duties # Must have Va drivers licence Assist licensed plumbers with pipe installation, system maintenance, and repair tasks on construction sites Support the setup and safe operation of power tools, hand tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding apparatus Help with the installation of plumbing fixtures, pipes, fittings, and related components following safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards and site regulations Participate in remodeling projects by supporting handyman tasks and general maintenance activities Follow all safety procedures including power tool safety, welding safety, and site-specific protocols to prevent accidents Skills Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment Customer service mindset when interacting with team members or clients on-site Commitment to safety protocol adherence including power tool safety and site hazard awareness Experience with remodeling or handyman tasks is a plus for supporting diverse project needs Ability to work effectively on construction sites with good physical stamina and attention to detail This role is paid—offering valuable experience in the construction industry while fostering your professional growth.
