Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Striper to join our construction team, specializing in parking lot restriping and new layout. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and experience operating heavy equipment (preferred) and hand tools in outdoor construction environments. Responsibilities Prepare road surfaces by cleaning, masking, and setting up traffic control zones to ensure accurate line application. Operate line striping equipment, including power paint sprayers and marking machines, to apply durable traffic lines, crosswalks, and symbols with precision. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools, including hand tools and power tools, ensuring optimal functionality for each task. Assist with traffic control for work zones by setting up signage, cones, barriers, and flagging to maintain safe conditions for workers and motorists. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues on power tools and equipment used in construction settings. Skilled in manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and working on outdoor construction projects in various weather conditions. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while working with traffic control devices in active work zones. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving on busy construction sites.
