Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Spotters / Flaggers for an immediate start in Quantico, VA .

LONG-TERM PROJECT WITH 40+ HOURS PER WEEK AND POTENTIAL OVERTIME!

PAY:

$25/hour

SCHEDULE

Expected work will be Monday-Friday; 8 am to 5 pm approximately 40+ hours/week

This is anticipated to be a 3+ month contract position Spotter /

Flagger Job Description:

The Spotter / Flagger will act as the extra eyes and ears for equipment operators and drivers on a construction site. This position is responsible for safely guiding dump trucks, excavators, forklifts, and other equipment around tight spaces, blind spots, hazards, and personnel to help prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications for Spotter /

Flagger:

• Experience working as a construction spotter, flagger, or equipment guide preferred
• Ability to safely direct the movement of dump trucks, excavators, forklifts, and other heavy equipment using clear hand signals, flags, or two-way radios
• Ability to identify and communicate hazards including uneven ground, overhead wires, obstacles, and nearby workers
• Must maintain clear line of sight and remain visible to equipment operators while maintaining a safe distance
• Ability to help control site traffic and set up safety signs, cones, and barricades
• Must be able to communicate clearly and use standard hand signals or two-way radios
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required
• Must be able to safely perform job duties while standing for extended periods
• Must be able to safely use required PPE
• Position requires the use of PPE including: safety-toe work boots and hard hat Additional Requirements for Spotter /

Flagger:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• Applicants are subject to a pre-employment background screening
