This is a variable-hour position, but employees who are flexible, dependable, and willing to work consistently typically stay busy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old Current Washington State Flagger Certification required Valid Washington State driver's license required Must own a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from job sites Employees will be responsible for maintaining safe traffic control operations on active job sites.
Duties include:
Standing for extended periods of time (8-12 hour shifts possible) Working outdoors in all weather conditions Controlling traffic using stop/slow paddles and other signaling devices Communicating effectively with crew members and supervisors Following all safety procedures and site instructions Assisting with setup and movement of traffic control devices as needed Maintain awareness of surrounding traffic, pedestrians, and job site activity at all times Applicants must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, squat, kneel, and reach with full upper mobility regularly Lift and carry: 10 lbs continuously 30 lbs occasionally Up to 50 lbs frequently Pay rate starts at $23-57.66 Hour DOE and job placement. Typical schedule is Monday- Friday 6 am - 6 pm, but accepting applicants who are willing to commit to at least 4 consistent days during the week and are available for overtime if necessary. Must be willing to drive up to 50 miles to a job site
