Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Technician to join our service team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and servicing overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment at customer facilities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. Essential Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues on overhead cranes and hoists. Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections. Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs efficiently. Inspect cranes and material handling equipment for compliance and safe operation. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Complete detailed service reports and inspection documentation. Communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards. Travel to customer locations to perform field service work. Participate in after-hours, weekend, and emergency service calls as required. Required Qualifications Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems on overhead cranes or industrial equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass background screening, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check. Preferred Qualifications Experience servicing overhead cranes, hoists, or other industrial lifting equipment. Industrial electrical or mechanical maintenance experience. Knowledge of OSHA, CMAA, and ANSI crane standards. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
