POSITION SUMMARY

\nThe role of a Service Technician I directly supports the company's mission by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of wind turbine generators, which are integral to producing 100% renewable energy. The Service Technician I is responsible for performing turbine maintenance and operational tasks in accordance with high safety standards.\nThe role collaborates closely with the operational and back‑office teams to ensure a high level of availability in the wind farm, supporting strong service performance for our customers and contributing to the company's future growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Perform routine wind turbine maintenance and basic repairs following established procedures\nAssist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under the guidance of experienced technicians\nComplete maintenance reports, track work activities, and manage service tickets\nSupport inventory and material management, including receiving, organizing, and tracking parts and tools\nPrepare tools, materials, and documentation needed for scheduled work\nFollow all safety procedures, including PPE inspections, toolbox talks, vehicle inspections, and incident reporting\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and turbine performance\nWork closely with team members and support additional site operations as needed

WHAT YOU HAVE

High school diploma or GED required; technical, wind energy, or engineering education preferred\n0-2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, construction, or a related field\nExperience using hand tools and power tools\nStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team\nComfortable working at heights of up to 300 feet and climbing wind turbine towers daily\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments\nWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and confined spaces\nAbility to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call schedule\nValid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements\nAbility to obtain a U.S. Passport and travel up to 10% for training or support at other sites\nAbility to obtain and maintain required safety and technical certifications, including working with medium- and high-voltage equipment\nMust meet
