Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Septic Technician/Driver to join our team servicing aerobic treatment units, in the Liberty/Chambers County area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and interacting with homeowners. As a field technician, you'll perform routine clean-outs, diagnose issues, and help ensure onsite wastewater systems operate safely and in compliance with Texas environmental regulations. This position will consist primarily of customer communication, followed by driving (company vehicle) to the customer's location, stepping out into the heat for the on-site septic tank inspection or clean out, inputting the result into an app, and then off to the next customer.

SMELL, please don't apply, Thank you in advance! Duties Perform scheduled Clean-Outs, and maintenance of aerobic septic systems, including testing pumps, aerators, and chlorinators. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to air pumps, floats, timers, and electrical components. Keep accurate records of all inspections, service activities and clean outs for both customers and regulatory compliance. Communicate findings clearly to homeowners, providing recommendations for repairs or maintenance. Follow company and state safety guidelines. Assist with minor repairs, part replacements, and preventive maintenance. Use testing meters and hand tools effectively to verify system performance. Requirements Previous experience in septic system service, wastewater treatment, plumbing, or a related mechanical/electrical trade preferred (training available for the right candidate). Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to safely use hand tools and testing equipment. Comfort working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions. Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and reporting skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and interact professionally with customers. Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
TCEQ OSSF
