In PersonJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Woodworking Specialist to join our team. This role involves crafting, installing, and restoring custom cabinetry and woodwork with a strong focus on precision, quality, and craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on woodworking and construction experience, the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and experience working with hand tools, power tools, woodworking machinery, and CNC equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install custom cabinetry and wood fixtures.

Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.

Measure job sites and installation areas accurately to ensure proper cabinet fit, alignment, and placement.

Fabricate wood components for cabinetry, furniture, trim work, doors, siding, and other wood construction applications.

Assemble and install cabinets, doors, moldings, fixtures, and other custom woodwork at residential and commercial job sites.

Ensure all fabrication and installation work meets project specifications and quality standards.

Assist with restoration and renovation projects, including water-damage remediation, drywall repairs, stucco work, siding replacement, and other general construction tasks.

Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and assist with construction estimating and material planning.

Identify and resolve fabrication or installation issues while maintaining project schedules.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Properly maintain, clean, and store tools and equipment after use.

Follow all applicable job-site and power-tool safety procedures.

Qualifications & SkillsHands-on experience in cabinetmaking, woodworking, carpentry, trim carpentry, or related construction fields.

Experience with residential or commercial cabinetry fabrication and installation preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings.

Strong knowledge of woodworking materials including plywood, MDF, and hardwoods.

Proficiency with hand tools such as saws and chisels and power tools such as drills, sanders, and saws.

Experience operating CNC machinery and woodworking equipment is a plus.

Understanding of construction estimating, material requirements, and project planning.

Knowledge of construction-site safety and proper power-tool operation.

Experience installing cabinets, doors, moldings, siding, fixtures, and other finish components.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately.

Ability to work efficiently while meeting project deadlines.

Ability to safely lift and handle large or heavy materials.
