Artesia is seeking an experienced Lead Cabinet Crafter to oversee daily cabinet shop operations while leading by example on the production floor. This role is responsible for producing and supervising the fabrication of high-quality custom cabinetry, maintaining strict quality standards, coordinating workflow, mentoring shop employees, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to exact specifications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who combines technical expertise with strong organizational and problem-solving skills and takes pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily cabinet shop operations while fostering a productive, team-oriented environment. Perform and oversee all phases of custom cabinet fabrication with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate production schedules to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Inspect work throughout the fabrication process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Artesia quality expectations. Train, mentor, and develop cabinet shop team members while promoting continuous improvement and accountability. Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and implement practical solutions to maintain production efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Manage materials, equipment, and inventory responsibly to minimize waste and maximize productivity. Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in custom cabinet fabrication, with demonstrated leadership experience in a cabinet shop or woodworking environment. Advanced knowledge of woodworking machinery, cabinet construction methods, materials, and fabrication techniques. Ability to accurately read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience leading teams while maintaining production schedules and quality expectations. Commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Pay:
