Custom Woodworking Craftsperson Full‑Time

• Benefits Included At Antique Building Solutions, we specialize in preserving the craftsmanship of the past while building for the future. We're looking for a skilled woodworking craftsperson to join our Woolrich shop and help continue that tradition. The Role You'll fabricate architectural millwork and custom furniture pieces from start to finish — hands‑on shop work for someone who takes pride in precision, clean joinery, and getting the details right. You'll work with a wide range of both reclaimed and new wood species — each with its own quirks, quality, and character. Knowing how to read and adapt to different wood species, and working through the unique challenges reclaimed material can bring, is a big part of this job What You'll Be Making Stair parts: treads, risers, stringers, nosing Railings, landings, newel posts Floor vents Custom furniture: tables, benches, coffee tables False‑drawer mantels Curved and laminated pieces This list isn't exhaustive — we're a custom shop. If our customers can dream it, we can make it. What We're Looking For Experience with custom woodworking, millwork, or architectural fabrication Comfort reading shop drawings and working to precise measurements and tolerances Skilled use of standard and specialty woodshop equipment Bonus if you've got experience with lamination or curved/bent work — not required, but a definite plus Familiarity working with reclaimed and new wood species, and adapting technique to each material's unique challenges Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality, finish‑ready work Ability to work both independently and as part of a shop team Reliable, punctual, and safety‑minded in a shop environment What We Offer Full‑time position Benefits package Steady, varied project work in a shop that values craftsmanship A collaborative team environment at our Woolrich location

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
