The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking craftsmanship, with the ability to interpret construction plans and produce high-quality cabinetry and woodwork that meet precise specifications. This role requires proficiency with power tools and woodworking machinery, as well as a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to accurately produce custom cabinetry and woodwork. Operate power tools and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble wood components. Select appropriate construction materials based on project requirements, ensuring durability and quality. Construct, assemble, and install cabinetry and other wood products according to specifications. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure designs are executed accurately within deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times. Inspect finished products for quality control, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards. Stay updated on industry techniques, tools, and materials to continually improve craftsmanship. Qualifications Proven experience as a cabinet maker or in a similar woodworking role with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of power tools for woodworking such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers. Experience operating woodworking machinery including CNC machines is preferred. Knowledge of various wood construction materials suitable for commercial projects across different sectors. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to project requirements.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
