What We Are Looking For We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Builder & Installer who takes pride in producing high quality work both in the shop and in the field. This is a hands on position. You will be responsible for building custom cabinetry from shop drawings, preparing projects for installation, and installing finished cabinetry in our clients' homes. We are looking for someone who understands that a cabinet is not finished when it leaves the shop. The installation, fit, reveals, adjustments, and final details are just as important as the fabrication. Responsibilities Build custom cabinets, built ins, and architectural millwork from shop drawings Cut, assemble, sand, and prepare cabinetry for finishing Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and cabinet layouts Operate standard woodworking and cabinet shop machinery safely and accurately Install finished and prefinished cabinetry in residential homes Install doors, drawer fronts, hinges, drawer slides, hardware, panels, fillers, trim, and moldings Scribe and fit cabinetry to walls, floors, ceilings, and existing conditions Adjust doors and drawers to maintain consistent reveals and proper operation Make field modifications when necessary to complete an installation correctly Inspect your own work throughout fabrication and installation Identify quality issues before cabinetry leaves the shop Protect finished cabinetry and clients' homes during installation Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop and jobsite Communicate with the team when drawings, measurements, or project details need clarification Qualifications Minimum of 3 to 5 years of cabinet building, cabinet installation, or related woodworking experience Strong understanding of cabinet construction and assembly Experience installing custom and prefinished cabinetry Ability to read and work from shop drawings and technical drawings Strong measuring, cutting, scribing, and fitting skills Experience with concealed hinges, undermount drawer slides, and cabinet hardware Comfortable operating table saws, shapers, jointers, planers, sanders, routers, and other woodworking equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to troubleshoot problems and make good decisions in the field Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working inside finished, high end homes Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to safely lift, carry, and install cabinetry The Right Person You take pride in your work and care about the details people may never notice.
