August, 2026 Skilled Cabinetmaker & Installer — Shop and Field At Kerfside, we have the privilege of building dream kitchens and beyond. We work directly with homeowners, interior designers, and luxury builders who want to create something truly outstanding — and our team brings real passion for the craft to every project. We're looking for a skilled craftsperson who's equally at home building fully custom cabinetry in the shop and installing it onsite. If you're ready to bring your skills to an energetic team that truly gives a damn about both you and the client, we want to talk to you. In the Shop Strong ¾" case assembly and ½" drawer box assembly. We use dados and pilot holes for all joinery straight off the CNC, so this comes easy if you've done it before. Face frame milling, cutting, and assembly — precise and on the money for inset work. Door milling and assembly. Skilled on shaper machines for cope-and-stick 5-piece doors, custom miter doors, applied mouldings, and more. Vent hoods and radius work. Complex hardware installation (e.g., HAWA / KV pocket doors). You can read installation instructions and quickly master new hardware. Confident creating custom millwork and detailed, one-off pieces. Comfortable in Mozaik (or similar cabinet design software) for our mostly paperless shop, and reading cutlists and elevations. In the Field (Installation) Scribe fillers, crown, and finished ends to floors, walls, and ceilings. Cut and install all crown mouldings; screen and shoe moulding experience. Adjust doors, drawers, and reveals for clean, consistent gaps. Install Axilo (or similar) adjustable base cabinet levelers. Route, configure, install, and troubleshoot LED lighting. Lamello (or similar) experience. Paint touch-ups and caulking on prefinished cabinetry where needed. Comfortable using a laser level or similar technology to work efficiently onsite. Keep a clean, professional jobsite — you're trustworthy and presentable in front of customers.

You work easily within email, text, and task/operations management software in a paperless shop. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Reliable transportation for your commute to the shop. Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs, and to constantly move your whole body — lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling materials — and to stand or walk for extended periods. Able to operate equipment safely and follow all safety procedures. Comfortable working with our software tools in a paperless shop environment. Open to a background check.
