At Prassess Millwork and Manufacturing, youll be part of a skilled team dedicated to creating high-quality custom cabinetry and woodwork. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and using a range of hand tools and woodworking machinery to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinetry components. You will work on custom and production projects, ensuring all pieces meet precise specifications, quality standards, and deadlines. Daily tasks involve measuring, marking, and preparing materials; assembling cabinets, casework, and furniture; installing hardware and fittings; and applying various finishes. Youll collaborate with other team members, communicate progress or issues, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in your work are vital. The ideal candidate has experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or carpentry, with strong knowledge of wood species, joinery techniques, and finishing methods. Familiarity with industrial woodworking equipment, such as table saws, routers, planers, and sanders, is required. Ability to lift heavy materials, follow safety protocols, and solve problems on the job is essential. A commitment to quality, reliability, and teamwork will ensure your success in this role.
