ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Loads and/or unloads trucks, totes, drums, and railcars as required Performs lab analysis as required Prints Bills of Lading and Certificates of Analysis as required Operates the plant-specific chemical process systems as needed Operates forklift and pay loader as needed Measure and record accurate product, process, and safety data. Performs lab analysis as required Meet the physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear Must be able to interface courteously with customers via telephone during night/weekend hours, when needed; good basic "people skills" Observe all company, local, state, and federal safety, and quality regulations Adheres to all ISO standard operating procedures Attends monthly safety meetings and required training seminars Performs other duties as required/assigned by Plant Manager, Immediate Supervisor, or Transportation Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required More education or experience in a related field may be required Understanding of chemical process Aptitude for mechanics Ability to read and comprehend detailed specifications, basic computer skills Must be able to perform several mental tasks simultaneously Experience working with front-end loaders may be preferred or required Strong verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Perform physical activities that require frequent climbing of stairs and ladders and working around industrial equipment. Must be able to wear and work in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas. Lifting could include objects up to 50 pounds.
