Job Title:
Production Technician Job Description The Production Technician works in a controlled cleanroom environment, following Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers. In this role, you follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures, work documents, and technical drawings to ensure consistent product quality. You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where attention to detail and adherence to procedures are critical. Responsibilities Manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Follow detailed instructions, including Standard Operating Procedures, work documents, and technical drawings, to complete production tasks accurately. Work in a controlled cleanroom environment while adhering to cGMP and cleanroom protocols at all times. Operate within an assembly line and general production setting to meet daily output and quality targets. Perform production, assembly, and packaging activities with a high level of attention to detail and consistency. Use basic computer systems to complete required training modules and document work as needed. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and report issues in the production process. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing. Follow detailed procedures and work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. Demonstrate a commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain accurate, compliant production practices. Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during manufacturing and assembly tasks. Handle materials in warehouse and production areas, including order picking and movement of components as needed. Apply appropriate chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with cleanroom and safety requirements. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent education. Ability to work in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment and follow cGMP requirements. Basic computer skills to complete training modules and access work instructions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to support efficient and accurate production. Good verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation. Ability to follow detailed procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and technical drawings consistently. Commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adherence to quality standards. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and contribute to group objectives. Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs unassisted. Capability to perform frequent forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions safely. Additional Skills & Qualifications Approximately 1 year of production experience is preferred but not required. Experience as a production worker, assembly worker, warehouse worker, or order picker is beneficial. Comfort working on assembly lines and in general production and packaging environments. Experience using hand tools and basic production equipment. Understanding of chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and IPA. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment where you may work up to 10 hours per day with possible overtime. Cleanroom conditions typically maintain humidity above 30%, temperatures between 60-70°F, and ambient noise levels. You follow strict gowning requirements, including gloves, hair and beard nets, face cover, safety glasses, and the absence of makeup or jewelry, to maintain product integrity and cleanliness. The work involves frequent gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions, as well as standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift. You occasionally lift and handle up to 40 lbs unassisted and use hand tools and equipment to perform production tasks. Personal protective equipment is required, and you follow chemical hygiene practices when working with disinfectants, solvents, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.28/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
