Job Description

Connect Staffing is hiring an Chemical Operator for a chemical manufacturing plant in Sealy, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position — pay rate will be confirmed during the screening process. In this role, you will execute batch making and mixing processes, package finished goods, and perform in-process quality testing in a production environment. This is a long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer.

Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Execute batch making and chemical mixing processes according to established production schedules and quality guidelines. Perform product changeovers and set up equipment for incoming shifts. Conduct in-process quality tests and document results, process times, and any process variations. Enter SAP order confirmations accurately and in a timely manner. Operate a forklift to support material movement and ensure raw material availability before production runs. Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and training of new or temporary employees. Minimum Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a chemical plant or batch production environment. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for order entry and confirmations. Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions or standard operating procedures. Prior military experience. You may be a great fit if you've held any of these titles: Admix Operator, Batch Operator, Chemical Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operator, Process Operator, Blending Operator, Mixing Operator, Industrial Operator, Plant Operator. Pre-Employment Requirements Ability to work at a fast pace in a manufacturing environment. Steel-toe boots required (employee-provided). Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
