In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-precision components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machine operation will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and contribute to quality manufacturing processes that meet strict standards. Duties Operate a range of CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers to produce parts according to technical specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to determine machining requirements. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust programs as needed for optimal performance. Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials accurately while adhering to safety standards in production environments. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Maintain detailed records of machine operations, inspections, and quality control checks in compliance with manufacturing protocols. Follow shop math principles for calculations involving measurements, tolerances, and material handling. Assist with fabrication tasks such as stamping press operations or working on press brake machines when required. Support continuous improvement initiatives by adhering to safety standards and participating in team meetings focused on process enhancements. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC machining centers within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in CNC programming using CAM software; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. Ability to use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Experience with shop math calculations necessary for machining operations and material fabrication. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and proper use of hand tools and tooling equipment. Ability to handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment when necessary. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for quality control and assembly tasks. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred; knowledge of packaging processes and assembly line operations is a plus.
