hiring CNC Operators for permanent work in Ocala, Florida. Working 4x10's M-Thur 5am-330pm Pay $21-$25/hr BOE + Benefits kick in right away! Medical, Dental, Vision, Life an Short Term Disability. Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing, woodworking, cabinetry, plastics, composite, furniture, or similar production environment is preferred. Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery to cut, route, drill, shape, and machine materials according to work orders and specifications.
- Review work orders, drawings, measurements, and production instructions before beginning a job.
- Load and position materials properly in the CNC machine and verify material type, size, orientation, and quantity.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and verify machine settings before production.
- Load and run established CNC programs and make basic adjustments as needed to maintain production requirements.
- Assist other departments when production needs change.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and other basic inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, proper dimensions, and overall appearance.
- Identify and correct production issues when possible and notify the Supervisor of material, equipment, or product concerns.
- Minimize material waste, scrap, rework, and preventable damage.
- Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting established quality standards.
- Safely use CNC equipment, hand tools, measuring equipment, and other manufacturing tools required for the job. Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, reach, twist, and work around production tables.
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
- Handle fabric, acoustic panels, tools, and production materials. Requirements
- Basic understanding of CNC machine operation, tooling, and setup.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, production drawings, measurements, and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, consistent workmanship.
- Ability to accurately measure materials and finished parts.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
