Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to strict quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to high-quality product output in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Set up CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to technical drawings and production specifications. Program CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and interpret CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings for accurate machining. Operate various industrial machinery including press brake machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and fabrication tools while following safety standards in production. Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet dimensional specifications and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with CNC equipment and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings for accurate fabrication and assembly of parts. Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment, ensuring proper packaging and storage of finished products. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other CNC control systems is highly desirable. Ability to interpret production documents, technical drawings, and shop math accurately. Mechanical knowledge of tooling, fabrication processes, and factory safety standards in manufacturing facilities. Experience with industrial troubleshooting, assembly line operations, and quality control procedures. Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and GD&T principles. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklift equipment is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for machining calculations; familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software is advantageous.
