Responsibilities Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Set up and operate CNC router machines according to work orders and specifications. Load raw materials and secure workpieces using appropriate fixtures and tooling. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production documentation. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished products using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges. Change tooling, bits, and cutting tools as required. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and housekeeping standards. Work with supervisors, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve production issues. Meet productivity, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
