Job Description
CNC Machinist AB Suppressor is a fast-growing firearms manufacturer producing innovative, industry-leading suppressors. Our background is in manufacturing high-performance turbochargers for more than 20 years. We have used that manufacturing and engineering experience to develop a growing line of American-made suppressors. We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated CNC machinist with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in the firearms industry. This position works closely with our owner, Engineering, R&D, Production, Sales, and Marketing teams. About the Position This is a hands-on position in a one-person machine shop. The ideal candidate will work well with others while also being comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for taking projects from production drawings to finished parts. Our work ranges from prototypes and last-minute design changes to full production runs with critical quality-control requirements. You must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a clean, organized, and fully functioning work area. Required Qualifications At least two years of machining experience Experience operating CNC lathes with live tooling Ability to read and work from production drawings Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to produce prototypes and complete full production runs Ability to consistently maintain required tolerances and quality standards Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Willingness to assist with other projects and responsibilities as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience operating DMG Mori or Doosan/ DN Solutions equipment CNC lathe experience Experience machining titanium Knowledge of firearms and suppressors AB Suppressor is not looking for someone simply to fill an open position.
