Job Description

Aurelius Manufacturing is hiring a CNC Lathe Setup/Operator for our 2nd shift team. This is a steady, full-time position in a clean, climate-controlled machine shop with consistent hours and competitive benefits. Shift Details 2nd

Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM 3-day weekends every week Shift differential pay Paid breaks Pay & Benefits Weekly pay Full benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, Disability insurance, 401(k) with company match Paid Vacation & Holidays Profit-sharing bonus Company-paid uniforms Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes according to blueprints and specifications Select proper tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining jobs Run parts and perform first article inspection Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure quality Make machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and specifications Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications Experience with CNC lathe setup and operation (preferred) Ability to produce a quality first part independently Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings Skilled using measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) Strong attention to detail and quality control Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player Technical training or machining certification is a plus High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift Lift up to 75 lbs Wear required PPE in a manufacturing environment About Aurelius Manufacturing Aurelius manufactures custom welded hydraulic cylinders for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and has been providing innovative solutions to customers since 1926.
