Machine Operator For over 35 years, Easy Reach has been a leading manufacturer of high-quality, American made brooms and brushes dedicated to the RV Industry. We are looking for a Mold Setter/Technical Assistant to set and remove molds in injection molding machines, modify, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.

• Must know how to set up and operate multi-axis CNC production machines
• Run production parts
• Communicate machine and manufacturing issues with management
• Must understand different types of materials and thicknesses
• Clean, maintain and prep equipment
• Must know how to use measuring tools, micrometers, calipers and gauges
• Inspect and changing worn or broken parts
• Performs basic troubleshooting with routine guidance
• Perform routine operation of assigned machine(s), including start-up and shutdown.
• Keep machine running throughout shift, while monitoring product quality through regular inspection intervals
• Troubleshoot and corrects minor problems, obtain assistance when needed
• Ensure that all documentation is in order (part number, revisions, etc.) and is kept at the workstation
• Maintain working area in a clean and organized manner

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to read and understand CAD generated drawings
• Basic math skills with knowledge of algebra, geometry and the metric system
• Knowledge and experience using hand tools
• Computer knowledge, Microsoft Excel a plus
• High school diploma A successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to work with little direct oversight.
