Position:

CNC Machine Operator (Night Shift) GMW is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team at our Burlington, NC facility. This is a night shift position, offering the opportunity to work with advanced twin spindle turning centers in a collaborative and professional environment. Job Description The primary responsibility of the CNC Machine Operator is to maintain production on twin spindle turning centers. This includes the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure consistent and efficient production. Key Responsibilities Maintain production on twin spindle turning centers. Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer requirements, documenting results on check sheets. Perform routine daily maintenance on turning centers. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as needed. Perform tooling changes and make machine adjustments to optimize performance. Qualifications and Requirements Proven ability to work effectively with team members in a shop environment. Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in reading blueprints and measuring parts accurately. Attention to detail and a results-driven approach. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus. Possession of appropriate tools for the role. Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay rate, based on experience. Paid holidays.
