Responsibilities Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise machining operations on mills, lathes, and grinders. Program, edit, and monitor CNC controls to ensure optimal machine performance and part accuracy. Perform rigorous quality inspections using precision measurement tools to verify tolerances down to 0.0002 inches. Maintain a high-efficiency workflow by managing machine setups, tool changes, and routine adjustments. Document production progress and update inventory records to ensure seamless operational continuity. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot machining challenges and improve process efficiencies. Uphold 5S organizational standards and strict safety protocols to maintain a productive and secure work environment. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 2+ years of hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment. Proficiency in reading technical schematics, blueprints, and procedure manuals. Strong mathematical aptitude, including unit conversion and precision measurement. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs independently. Preferred Skills Associate degree or relevant technical machining certification. Advanced proficiency with precision tools such as bore gages, micrometers, and calipers. Experience with overhead lifting equipment and industrial safety practices. Demonstrated ability to utilize structured problem-solving methodologies.
